Miles & Emily | A Rainy Wedding Day at Svetlik Farm

The forecast called for rain and we were ready.

 

I made sure to pack a pair of clear umbrellas, came up with a rain plan, and did a little extra scouting at the venue. Most of the venue was without cover and unpaved dirt roads meant mud was abundant. It rained on and off throughout the day and the wind howled, blowing in a typical Texas cold front. We opted to do most of the pre-ceremony events and photo-ops inside rather than under a small covered area outside.

 

Following the ceremony, the rain stopped. I can’t say the same for the wind, but Miles & Emily took it in stride (as they did all day).
