I’m known for my eye for detail and my calm, intentional approach—I’ll notice the little things, help you feel comfortable in front of the camera, and make sure nothing meaningful slips by. But I’m not all business! I believe the best celebrations are the ones where you actually get to have fun, and I’ll happily be the one cheering you on, laughing alongside your favorite people, and probably dancing with my camera in hand when the music starts. (Years of Thursday nights at Hurricane Harry’s may or may not have prepared me for this.)

There’s something special about a photograph and the way it makes us feel. It’s the only way I know how to freeze a moment - and all the sweet memories and feelings that go along with it - in time. As a child I always loved digging into family albums and yearbooks. They showed me where I came from and preserved all the things that made us who we are. The countless hours I spent running around the Polo Club in Bogota with Andrea, Ramon, and Jose -all captured on my mom's old film camera (and yes, occasionally her old Nokia cell phone!)- now decorate the walls of our home instead of just my fuzzy memories. Without these albums to look back on, there’s so much that would have slipped by forgotten. But now, I’m able to open an album and disappear back into some of the most beautiful days of my childhood.

When I’m not documenting incredible love stories, you can probably find me chasing my next adventure. Whether I’m flying across the country, loading up the car with friends for a weekend outdoors with Britney Spears playing way too loud, or rewatching She’s The Man for the hundredth time, I’m always looking for the next experience to soak in. I’ve always felt most at home outside—exploring a new National Park, wandering somewhere I’ve never been, or simply slowing down on the back porch and taking in the beauty around me. I’m endlessly inspired by this incredible planet we get to explore—and I love bringing that same sense of curiosity and adventure into every story I photograph.
